Vintage Aprons

My aprons are made using wash and wear, 1930s reproduction cotton fabrics. They are each hand-sewn to high quality standards by local Mennonite and Amish grandmothers. Any buttons are vintage or reproduction buttons.  The aprons are functional as well as flattering. Adult size is one-size-fits-all. Children's sizes are Small (2-4), Medium (4-6) and Large (6-10). There is also a doll size. Aprons are available in many different fabrics.  If you don't see what you'd like, contact me and we may be able to work out a custom order.

Child's Heart Pocket Apron

Available in: Pink, red, yellow, green, or blue

Children love putting these aprons on to "help" mom or grandma in the kitchen, especially if Grandma is wearing one too. :) They keep their clothes from getting dirty, and help while playing with playdough too. I used a pattern from a 1950's apron my mother made for me. The fabrics vary due to availability.

Child's Chef Apron

Available in: Blue, green, yellow or red

Little boys (and girls) love wearing a chef apron for cooking, crafts, or any "messy" project. One pocket is centered on the top, and four pockets along the bottom. What child doesn't like pockets?! Here's an apron that will last a lifetime. The fabrics vary due to availability.

One Half Hankie Apron: $15

The half-aprons are white, made with a different colored hankie.

Adult Heart Pocket Apron: $22

Just like grandma used to wear! An easy slip-over style that never gets “old”. Each apron has long ties on it, to fit most figures. Featuring one heart shaped pocket with complimentary bias tape around the pocket and top. The fabrics vary due to availability.

Adult Slip-Over Apron: $22

Available in: Pink, red, yellow, green, or blue

A slip-over apron, with no ties. This one fits the smaller figured women. I use 1930’s vintage type materials. Featuring a rounded pocket with complimentary bias tape trim all around. The fabrics vary due to availability.

Adult Rick Rack Apron: $24

Available in: Pink, red, yellow, green, or blue

One size fits all. I call this apron design "funky" with rick rack. I use old vintage buttons from my mother’s buttonbox on each of these aprons. The fabrics vary due to availability.
