I make bonnets from hankies which are great for baby gifts. These keepsakes can be put away and brought out to use for their something old on their wedding day. Bonnets include the poem:
"I was a little hankie, but with a stitch or two, I became a bonnet, for sweet baby, so new. I’ll be worn when she’s a baby, and then put away, but bring me out again, on her wedding day. A stitch snipped here and there, and a hankie will appear, I’ll be her something old, on that special day so dear.”Also available for little boy's, same poem, but I put a HE where there is a SHE. The poem is included with the bonnet.
